Orlando do Valle hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Raimundo Primo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cauan Neiva skillfully saved the ball. Felix Malvin charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Malvin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Sportivo Ben Hur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basílio Pombal during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute of the match Desiderio Tancredo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cauan Neiva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cauan Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Incendio in the 22nd minute of play. Desiderio Tancredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cauan Neiva. Gracie Barra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cauan Neiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Dacio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cauan Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Dacio in the 28th minute of play. Gracie Barra's Cauan Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Dacio in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Ruy in the 33rd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Cauan Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Dacio in the 42nd minute of the match. Celso Incendio scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Dacio made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Silvestre Dacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Felix Malvin was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Felix Malvin. In the 61st minute Oséias Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Aílton Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Sportivo Ben Hur's Desiderio Tancredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cauan Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Ben Hur reached it. Apolo Ruy came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cauan Neiva could save by the left post. The supporters of Sportivo Ben Hur booed when Gracie Barra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Mota to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Dacio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Xavier in the 86th minute of play forced Sportivo Ben Hur's goalkeeper Ovidio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Maureo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Gracie Barra's Oséias Aguiar. But to his dismay, Oséias Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
