Serafim Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Peso, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of Tala Bosques del Jaure booed when Várzea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Várzea F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Tala Bosques del Jaure's Oso Estefania got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Tulio Alaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Várzea F.C.'s zone, Oso Estefania stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Mesquita came out of the goal and Oso Estefania tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafim Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Peso in the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Oso Estefania notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Várzea F.C.'s Serafim Mesquita. Serafim Mesquita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Arlo Labrada made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Várzea F.C. defense, Tulio Alaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafim Mesquita. The Várzea F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafim Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Tala Bosques del Jaure's Atarratze Cosca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Mandrak in the 56th minute of play. Bingen Nieves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Serafim Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Oso Estefania struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Serafim Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tala Bosques del Jaure. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Albertinho Travassos hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Oso Estefania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafim Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oso Estefania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Várzea F.C.'s César Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arlo Labrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oso Estefania scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafim Mesquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafim Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Peso in the 95th minute of play. Tala Bosques del Jaure's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
