The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Mandrak to make the kick off. César Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Borczak having to interfere. Czeslaw Borczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafim Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Kolano's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Iuri Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Benedykt Niemojewski charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
