Delmar Quintin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Viana in the 17th minute of play. Emanuel Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Téo Tróia's late challenge caught a Deportivo Mandiyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo Tróia helped the player get up and apologised. Téo Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Delmar Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Rafael Bras hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Federico Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Mota was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Lúcio Viana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Quintin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agua Santa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
