Spectators: 8099 (Terracing: 6076, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 161) Silvano Ongile started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Silvano Ongile sped through Sportivo Ben Hur's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ovidio Maureo. In the 8th minute, Ruben Mendez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Sportivo Ben Hur's Celso Incendio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmar Quintin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ovidio Maureo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya. But to his dismay, Federico Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Deportivo Mandiyu getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Moises Hartz hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Delmar Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Ben Hur's Raimundo Primo got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Ben Hur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moises Hartz was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Mandiyu's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Sportivo Ben Hur getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bruno Maraman hit a great ball. Silvano Ongile recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Maraman was the one to do the kick off. Desiderio Tancredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Marcelo Barrionuevo fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mandiyu's protests and gave Marcelo Barrionuevo a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelo Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Sportivo Ben Hur's Apolo Ruy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Moises Hartz's late challenge caught a Sportivo Ben Hur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Hartz helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Victorino Olando replaced Ruben Mendez. In the 76th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Hartz to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Tancredo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Deportivo Mandiyu's Silvano Ongile in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportivo Ben Hur's goalie prevented a goal. Delmar Quintin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Berbiz during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Aurelio Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense.
