After 2 minutes, Dráuzio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jataiense Futebol Clube and the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráuzio Freire hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Alin Moldoveanu's late challenge caught a Jataiense Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alin Moldoveanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to -BZF- Fc Gheraseni getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alin Moldoveanu hit a great ball. Horea Raicu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dráuzio Freire. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Alvarenga in the 12th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Horea Raicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Alin Moldoveanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Délio Azevedo. Jataiense Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alin Moldoveanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 18 minutes into the match, Wellington Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Raicu. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 23rd match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Freire to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Fabian Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Verzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Délio Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alin Moldoveanu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Délio Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Verzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Panait Dănescu made a precise shot to the right of Délio Azevedo. Jataiense Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Víktor Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Panait Dănescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Délio Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Horea Raicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wellington Moura in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. When Edmundo Castro fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jataiense Futebol Clube's protests and gave Edmundo Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Horea Raicu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Wellington Moura. But to his dismay, Wellington Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Aaran Goiano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Fabian Verzea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Glauco Correia was substituted for José Paulo Romero. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Délio Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Verzea in the 72nd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Moura came free, but Horea Raicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Wellington Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wellington Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Víktor Porto hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Aaran Goiano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Edmundo Castro notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu. Horea Raicu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
