An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Frederik in the 4th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Germano Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germano Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Chus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Teles in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute, Severo Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Ricardinho Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isaias Chus. The goal made the score 2-0. Isaias Chus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Reinaldo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Nicolas Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lenílson Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Isaias Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cactos. In the 40th match minute, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Hanot to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Isaias Chus made a huge save. A collision led to Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Evaristo Elodio hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Lenílson Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cactos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Rodrigues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damaso Rik was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Hamílton Trigo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Germano Bezerra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damaso Rik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 66 minute of play. In the 69th minute Lenílson Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Chus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard and well directed shot from Lenílson Rodrigues led 71 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş's Isaias Chus became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-1. When Lenílson Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cactos's protests and gave Lenílson Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson Rodrigues. Isaias Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86th match minute, Ç Ā M Î Ö Ń Ĕ R Ö Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Hanot to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Lenílson Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Chus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reinaldo Teles struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Isaias Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cactos. Isaias Chus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Simões in the 95th minute of the match.
