Philipp Junod started the match with the kick off. Espen Steelers's Andre Zurbuchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Paixão in the 5th minute of play. Harrison Muntwyler struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fabrício Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. Fabrício Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freeman Mächler in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's André Pinho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andre Zurbuchen. Andre Zurbuchen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Máximo Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Andre Zurbuchen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harley Routhier's late challenge caught a CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harley Routhier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Harley Routhier hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Abel Paixão took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Andre Zurbuchen to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Philipp Junod managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Philipp Junod was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Zurbuchen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Máximo Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. Fabrício Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freeman Mächler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Hans Pasquino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espen Steelers's Marco Léveillé was substituted for Harley Routhier. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abel Paixão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Espen Steelers's Kenan Vinciguerra to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabrício Marques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Espen Steelers's Kenan Vinciguerra got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Bento Melo got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bento Melo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute of the match, Kenan Vinciguerra sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fabrício Marques showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. The supporters of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenan Vinciguerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Gaspar Vasconcelos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 69 minutes into the game, Hans Pasquino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espen Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land the free kick. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land made a substitution. With 83 minutes on the clock, Juliano Júdice commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 82nd minute, one of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land. Gavin Ciprella's late challenge caught a CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavin Ciprella helped the player get up and apologised. Bento Melo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
