The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's 白彬誉 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hippolyt Esche in the 2 minute of the game. In the 8th match minute, ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾兴响 to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Nat Schmitt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 王文然 skillfully saved the ball. Florian Guderian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 杨树镇, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 孔镇潮 in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Guderian saved Sydney FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, 孔镇潮 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 孔镇潮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Florian Guderian made a huge save. 孔镇潮 scored 2-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florian Guderian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When 唐宁正 came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 唐宁正 couldn't finish the play. Florian Guderian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔镇潮, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, 孔镇潮 fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Florian Guderian, passed just outside the right post. After 44 minutes, 杨树镇 made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sydney FC's Florian Guderian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kees Plappert to make the kick off. 孔镇潮 kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Pierre Möhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hippolyt Esche made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nat Schmitt immediately put the ball in play. ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's 曾兴响 suffered a sprained foot after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 62 minutes into the game, Pierre Möhn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sydney FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC the free kick. ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC made a substitution. 梅川广 replaced 曾兴响. In the 63rd minute, Pierre Möhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Guderian came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's 孔镇潮. But to his dismay, 孔镇潮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 68th minute, 孔镇潮 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Guderian was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 73 minutes into the game, 孔镇潮 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydney FC the free kick. In the 74th minute, 孔镇潮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute 孔镇潮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Guderian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gabriel Michel fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sydney FC's protests and gave Gabriel Michel a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Michel. In the 81st minute, 孔镇潮 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Heidemann during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ◇Mz.Dream◆Lighter FC booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Heidemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harald Inger charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harald Inger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the game, one of Sydney FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Florian Guderian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔镇潮 in the 86th minute of the match. Sydney FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
