In the 32nd minute, Kees Plappert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sydney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 麦朋克 hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Sydney FC's Jaden Krieglmeier got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, 【FLY】Borussia Dortmund's 袁希坚 got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Jaden Krieglmeier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 潘浩青 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 潘浩青 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kees Plappert in the 65th minute of the match. Florian Guderian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 麦朋克, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sydney FC's zone, 麦朋克 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Guderian came out of the goal and 麦朋克 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Kees Plappert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 潘浩青. Kees Plappert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 麦朋克 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when 麦朋克 came free, but Florian Guderian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 雷庭青 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Florian Guderian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
