Ernst Schnur hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Florian Guderian came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Dionisio Emesto. But to his dismay, Dionisio Emesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jonathan Alvarez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Emesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Pierre Möhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Paez came out of the goal and Pierre Möhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Guderian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Emesto in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Ernst Schnur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sydney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Dionisio Emesto got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Kees Plappert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Tilner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falckner FC's Genaro Frechoso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Florian Guderian but with some difficulty. In the 77th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Tulio to maneuver through the defense. Florian Guderian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Emesto in the 82nd minute of the match. Florian Guderian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Emesto in the 82nd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Adnan Tilner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney FC's Florian Guderian couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Genaro Frechoso shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 90th minute, 2-2.
