With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zygmunt Rywin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Hedvall saved Älta BK from getting behind. After 19 minutes of play, Fifth Chicken's Zygmunt Rywin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hjalmar Hedvall was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Älta BK booed when Fifth Chicken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jaks didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olgierd Zagrodny fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fifth Chicken's protests and gave Olgierd Zagrodny a yellow card for diving instead. Fifth Chicken's Zygmunt Rywin got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobiasz Dubiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hjalmar Hedvall. Älta BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gustaw Szkarpiak hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Älta BK made a substitution. Alexander Öberg replaced Nils-Emil Engman.
