The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Angel Taurino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Reyes F.C. booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Sindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lucas Reyes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Angel Gartzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Reyes F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
