After a rather tough play, Älta BK's Kim Waller got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes into the match, Benjamin Lemos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hjalmar Hedvall. Älta BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Lemos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asier Raña in the 8th minute of play forced Älta BK's goalkeeper Hjalmar Hedvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cugat Cardet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Dalkvist during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Älta BK got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Dalkvist. Txaran Herenchun, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sonny Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cugat Cardet having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Sonny Ek notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vanadio F.C.'s Cugat Cardet. Cugat Cardet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christian Arratia hit a great ball. Nils-Emil Engman might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cugat Cardet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils-Emil Engman ran back to his position shaking his head. Caton Rascon's late challenge caught a Älta BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caton Rascon helped the player get up and apologised. Älta BK made a substitution. Eddie Giöck replaced Jim Stephansson. Caton Rascon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Eddie Giöck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cugat Cardet skillfully saved the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Apelqvist came free, but Cugat Cardet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Arratia charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Arratia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Christian Arratia hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars-Erik Brogren to make the kick off. If Christian Arratia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelemen Revilla to maneuver through the defense. Vanadio F.C.'s Cugat Cardet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Vanadio F.C. from getting a goal against them. Älta BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
