Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flames FC! If Angel Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flames FC's Aimé Ham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Taurino in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Angel Taurino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aimé Ham was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusty Blalock to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Taurino in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aimé Ham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When La Candela FC's Lucas Reyes in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flames FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute Lucas Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aimé Ham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gavino Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Angel Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aimé Ham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Flames FC got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Gagnon. In the 38th minute Jacobo Oalo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rusty Blalock during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rusty Blalock hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Richards to maneuver through the defense. Flames FC made a substitution. Carlos Kirby replaced Damion Déziel.
Flames FC's Aimé Ham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Flames FC from getting a goal against them. Aimé Ham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavino Quinteros in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Carlos Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Angel Taurino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aimé Ham, 0-2. The supporters of Flames FC booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, Flames FC's Beau Hinojosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgard Guillen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flames FC reached it. Aimé Ham was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Angel Taurino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angel Taurino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Carlos Kirby got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 67 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Angel Taurino made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aimé Ham was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 70 minutes, Angel Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Candela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavino Quinteros hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Angel Taurino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aimé Ham was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Geraldo Gagnon fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Geraldo Gagnon a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Reyes got free with Aimé Ham in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Oinatz's late challenge caught a Flames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Oinatz helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Oinatz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Matt Stokes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Guillen having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Angel Taurino lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Aimé Ham. Matt Stokes's late challenge caught a La Candela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matt Stokes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Matt Stokes hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Felix Iturri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Candela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Iturri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Candela FC played a much better game than Flames FC and deserved their victory. The Flames FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
