In the 7th minute Michael Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Sirait saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Nusnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Carl Odén. Asep Ridholhaqqi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Wallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asep Ridholhaqqi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, George Ersman made a precise shot to the right of Markus Sirait. PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Trent Alexander-Arnold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nusnäs IF the free kick. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Trent Alexander-Arnold hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Lingren during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PHOENIX SC booed when Nusnäs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Christopher Kalengkongan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PHOENIX SC's Markus Sirait played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Lägdin in the 29th minute of play. Viktor Wallin made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ceppy Sarbini sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Butet Wilza to make the kick off. The supporters of Nusnäs IF booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelik Novara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karel Manusama kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Markus Sirait showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. George Ersman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ceppy Sarbini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Butet Wilza in the 64th minute of play forced Nusnäs IF's goalkeeper Viktor Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nusnäs IF booed when PHOENIX SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zulfikar Dharmasakti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Lingren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Markus Sirait made a huge save. In the 70th minute, Jan-Olof Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Ceppy Sarbini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceppy Sarbini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Ove Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Sirait showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Carl Odén charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Odén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zulfikar Dharmasakti kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Nusnäs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Thidén to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that PHOENIX SC were the better team. PHOENIX SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
