In the 22nd match minute, Los romperredes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerico Marcilla to maneuver through the defense. Sagrario Landa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Ax in the 23rd minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Brain Diest nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sagrario Landa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ágætis Byrjun's Edgard Ax got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Brain Diest made a precise shot to the right of Sagrario Landa. Los romperredes F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Willemsen in the 41st minute of play forced Los romperredes F.C's goalkeeper Sagrario Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los romperredes F.C's Sagrario Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Ax in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Buys was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Edgar Buys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sagrario Landa was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After 52 played minutes Los romperredes F.C got a freekick which was hit by Amat Saboya. If Edgard Ax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Sagrario Landa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Willemsen in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute of the match, Brain Diest tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sagrario Landa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Los romperredes F.C's Sagrario Landa got control of the ball when Brain Diest tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ágætis Byrjun's Edgar Buys slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sagrario Landa. That made the score 0-6 after 89 minutes of play. Sagrario Landa made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Edgar Buys sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Ágætis Byrjun could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los romperredes F.C throughout the match.
