After a rather tough play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Elias Kemen got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, one of ARedonditos de Ricota CFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ARedonditos de Ricota CFK. Leopoldo Rodas had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Edgar Buys's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edgard Ax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Daems kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ágætis Byrjun's Ab Veenema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Kemen in the 19th minute of play. When Silvestre Gumaro fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's protests and gave Silvestre Gumaro a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes ARedonditos de Ricota CFK got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Gumaro. 29 minutes into the match, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Buys came free, but Leopoldo Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Elias Kemen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ab Veenema to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to ARedonditos de Ricota CFK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nestor Sol hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Buys made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Elias Kemen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Ab Veenema. Ab Veenema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elias Kemen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ab Veenema read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Edgar Buys had several of the ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Leopoldo Rodas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ab Veenema came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Elias Kemen. But to his dismay, Elias Kemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Silvestre Gumaro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Edgar Buys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Leopoldo Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Nestor Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Willemsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Rodas made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's zone, Edgard Ax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Rodas came out of the goal and Edgard Ax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Kemen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ab Veenema read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Nestor Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Edgar Buys scored to the left of an out of position Leopoldo Rodas, making the score, 3-3. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ágætis Byrjun had controlled the match.
