Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Nusnäs IF's Jens-Ove Lingren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Nusnäs IF's Viktor Wallin got control of the ball when Daniel Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Amor to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Diagur came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Nusnäs IF's Jens-Ove Lingren. But to his dismay, Jens-Ove Lingren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Nusnäs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Amor came free, but Viktor Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Erasmo Calvino got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when Nusnäs IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Lägdin charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michael Lägdin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Nusnäs IF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Lägdin. George Ersman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 36th minute, Michael Lägdin made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Diagur. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 41st minute, Mats Ekgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Diagur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Lägdin in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Florian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Viktor Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Elvio Diagur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Ove Lingren. Elvio Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Lägdin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvio Diagur was a little too slow when Michael Lägdin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Carl Odén put in a rough tackle. Carl Odén hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cesar Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Nicanor Florian sped through Nusnäs IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viktor Wallin. In the 81st minute George Ersman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes of play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Melquiades Amor made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Wallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Florian in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Wallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nusnäs IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
