Spectators: 8083 (Terracing: 6063, Seating: 1859, VIP seats: 161) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Odysseus De Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when AFC Nirosxn 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Andriescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Stephen Witschard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebiu Iurașcu skillfully saved the ball. When FC Lugano's Ulric Donsante in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Nirosxn 08's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th match minute, AFC Nirosxn 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Cocoș to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Odysseus De Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Iurașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC Nirosxn 08's Eliodor Andriescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Fedor Adler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebiu Iurașcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Eusebiu Iurașcu came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Ulric Donsante. But to his dismay, Ulric Donsante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tito Waechter hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Florian Diederich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Iurașcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marin Flamaropol during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, AFC Nirosxn 08's Marin Flamaropol got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Nirosxn 08's Nae Josan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Sevier. That made the score 1-1 after 31 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Odysseus De Souza sped through AFC Nirosxn 08's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusebiu Iurașcu. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ulric Donsante managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lugano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulric Donsante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Iurașcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 played minutes AFC Nirosxn 08 got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Bălțăteanu. After some careless play in the AFC Nirosxn 08 defense, Odysseus De Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebiu Iurașcu. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebiu Iurașcu should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Florian Diederich notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of AFC Nirosxn 08's Eusebiu Iurașcu. Eusebiu Iurașcu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

After 50th play minutes Tiziano Gamache shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Eusebiu Iurașcu and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiziano Gamache in the 56th minute of play forced AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Eusebiu Iurașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiziano Gamache did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Eusebiu Iurașcu 59 minutes into the match. FC Lugano's Fidelio Haller was substituted for Fedor Adler. Max Sevier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Bălțăteanu in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Guido Emennegger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lugano and the AFC Nirosxn 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Guido Emennegger. In the 66th minute, Nae Josan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Eusebiu Iurașcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odysseus De Souza. In the 73rd minute, Tiziano Gamache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann was substituted for Odysseus De Souza. Marin Flamaropol kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Hugo Haller scored 2-8 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebiu Iurașcu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Eusebiu Iurașcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiziano Gamache. After 89 minutes of play AFC Nirosxn 08's Marin Flamaropol was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marin Flamaropol kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tiziano Gamache managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lugano's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiziano Gamache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Iurașcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over FC Lugano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC Nirosxn 08 throughout the match.
