Abelardo Toscano hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Stephen Witschard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Odysseus De Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Neto. The goal made the score 1-0. FC Lugano's Max Sevier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Paulista in the 13th minute of play. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Paulista in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Cléber Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Sevier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalkeeper Luiz Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Tito Waechter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lugano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luiz Neto made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ulric Donsante sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the game, Ulric Donsante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Neto.
