The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Horea Burtea's late challenge caught a ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horea Burtea helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Horea Burtea. Horea Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Claudiu Becheanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The Valar's Mădălin Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Paulista in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Valar defense, Cléber Tróia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Rotariu. The The Valar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Rotariu should have stopped the shot. In the 17th match minute, ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Joja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Neto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Paulista in the 25th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Mădălin Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Horea Burtea got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mădălin Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Tróia in the 32nd minute of play. Eriberto da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Rotariu having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Abelardo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Apolzan, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 44th minute, Abelardo Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Apolzan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Paulista to make the kick off. 1-3 became the score in the 51st minute when Cléber Tróia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's Luiz Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Marin in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Becheanu in the 61st minute of play forced ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's goalkeeper Luiz Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mădălin Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the final whistle sounded ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Valar.
