Gabriel Gay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Bernal having to interfere. Nemesio Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bela Gayoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Gay made a kick off. Pakorro AFC's Nemesio Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Gay in the 52nd minute of play. Rosalio Azpiazu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pakorro AFC booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Gay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Pakorro AFC got a corner. Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prudencio Claus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustin Guisasola tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Martin Pasqua. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-0 in the 70th minute. After 73 played minutes Chivos de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Lidon Bengoa. 76 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Chorche came free, but Martin Pasqua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Rocio took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Pasqua. Martin Pasqua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Jeronimo Corrales was substituted for Gabriel Gay. In the 87th match minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Amenedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Timoteo Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Pasqua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Corrales during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
