Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Odysseus De Souza started the match with the kick off. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Gartenmann in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Matteo Gartenmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Everton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of FC Lugano booed when Zuera Never End MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faas Marsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Tade Zeller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Everton skillfully saved the ball. Santo Everton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseus De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Max Sevier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manoel Botelho went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Santo Everton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matteo Gartenmann's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odysseus De Souza in the 23rd minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Florian Diederich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matteo Gartenmann in the 26th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Matteo Gartenmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Everton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Diederich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matteo Gartenmann hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Matteo Gartenmann got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Duda Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faas Marsal to strike the kick off in the second half. Santo Everton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odysseus De Souza in the 51st minute. Duda Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Max Sevier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Prestes in the 61st minute of the match. Zuera Never End MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Prestes in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Zuera Never End MZC's corner Oscar Prestes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Max Sevier quite easily take care of the ball. FC Lugano's Max Sevier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faas Marsal in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Odysseus De Souza made a precise shot to the right of Santo Everton. Zuera Never End MZC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 70th minute Manoel Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Sevier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odysseus De Souza. In the 75th minute, Zuera Never End MZC's Cherif Gomez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cherif Gomez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zuera Never End MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cherif Gomez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton got control of the ball when Stephen Witschard tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Odysseus De Souza put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Santo Everton. Zuera Never End MZC's Santo Everton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Zuera Never End MZC from getting a goal against them. Odysseus De Souza spun around in front of the goal 83 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Zuera Never End MZC's goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Florian Diederich kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santo Everton. That made the score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. Odysseus De Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santo Everton came out and tried to block the shot, but Odysseus De Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Lugano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
