Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Nacional's Mauricio Panero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Chus Hidalgo in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Anderbye FC's Tadeu Vinhas. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardinho Correia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaufred Sagarteguieta. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tadeu Vinhas hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Correia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mauricio Panero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Panero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mendebal Larrechi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ulisses Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Zotillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulisses Toledo having to make a save. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tadeu Vinhas hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Zotillo came free, but Ulisses Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Panero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nacional's Cirilo Zotillo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anderbye FC's Ulisses Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Panero in the 42nd minute of play. Mauricio Panero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Toledo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardinho Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardinho Correia hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Cirilo Zotillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Zotillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Zotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Toledo having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Anderbye FC's Tadeu Vinhas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaufred Sagarteguieta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Panero in the 63rd minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes Anderbye FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mero Tenorio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Nacional's Mendebal Larrechi to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulisses Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cirilo Zotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Toledo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Anderbye FC's Osvaldinho Gaúcho got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Mauricio Panero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulisses Toledo. Mauricio Panero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 81st minute Mauricio Panero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauricio Panero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeu Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gaufred Sagarteguieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Zotillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional played a much better game than Anderbye FC and deserved their victory. The Anderbye FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
