The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rajmond Vissenaekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Van den Gans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardinho Correia hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Rafael Van den Gans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Toledo having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Anderbye FC got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Linhares. Ricardinho Correia hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ulisses Toledo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rafael Van den Gans sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Correia came free, but Philipp De Messemaecker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Van Caels hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Anton Reniers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anderbye FC's Adilson Proença managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albert Van Caels in the 37 minute of the game. During the 39th minute of the match Ricardinho Correia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricardinho Correia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 39th match minute, Anderbye FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardinho Correia to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute of the match Rafael Van den Gans sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulisses Toledo skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Rajmond Vissenaekens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulisses Toledo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Bruno de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anderbye FC's protests and gave Bruno de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Anderbye FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bruno de Amaral hit a great ball. Ulisses Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rajmond Vissenaekens's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Rafael Van den Gans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Het Koffiehuis's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Van den Gans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wannes Feys made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Anderbye FC's Adilson Proença. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rajmond Vissenaekens in the 79th minute of play forced Anderbye FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes in the game Wannes Feys did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anton Reniers. Rafael Van den Gans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ulisses Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Het Koffiehuis booed when Anderbye FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderbye FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
