Mauricio Panero ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Het Koffiehuis booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mero Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaufred Sagarteguieta had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rajmond Vissenaekens from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Het Koffiehuis's Philipp De Messemaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Ballin in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Van Caels to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mauricio Panero put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Philipp De Messemaecker. Rajmond Vissenaekens charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rajmond Vissenaekens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rajmond Vissenaekens to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Van den Gans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Nacional's Zuriko Ballin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Philipp De Messemaecker. That made the score 1-4 after 63 minutes of play. Philipp De Messemaecker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zuriko Ballin in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Philipp De Messemaecker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mendebal Larrechi. After 70 minutes of play, Nacional's Zuriko Ballin made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philipp De Messemaecker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philipp De Messemaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Panero, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Mendebal Larrechi took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philipp De Messemaecker. Philipp De Messemaecker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 80th minute Mendebal Larrechi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp De Messemaecker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
