Spectators: 8065 (Terracing: 6050, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) Zorros del Desierto's Nino Maravilha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gualterio Doles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendebal Larrechi in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mero Tenorio hit a great ball. Samo Rano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Panero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Santana having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Nino Maravilha. Mauricio Panero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ursino Cabero kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Leonel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuriko Ballin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Leonel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendebal Larrechi in the 30th minute of play. Leonel Santana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mendebal Larrechi went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Mauricio Panero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Panero, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Mendebal Larrechi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Gualterio Doles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana did a great save. Leonel Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendebal Larrechi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Nacional were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauricio Panero to strike the kick off in the second half. Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mero Tenorio in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuriko Ballin got free with Leonel Santana in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Panero in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauricio Panero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Santana. That made the score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Damián Fouillioux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorros del Desierto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional the free kick. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Damián Fouillioux got a free kick in the 79th minute. Gualterio Doles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Albrecht kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Gualterio Doles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Santana having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Leonel Santana successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Nacional left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zorros del Desierto.
