The tension between the Golden Dragón F.C and the Albertus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ger Tollenaar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Borniquell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Colomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Ottens, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josu Mendibuey got free with Ger Tollenaar in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Colomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Merenga in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Josu Mendibuey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Dragón F.C's Basilio Colomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Platvoet in the 38th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Frits Platvoet.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Merenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fe Montealegre to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Colomes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yorrick Zwaanswijk. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Basilio Colomes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Kamps in the 58th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Basilio Colomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Platvoet might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Colomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frits Platvoet ran back to his position shaking his head. Golden Dragón F.C's Ermengol Cerredelo was substituted for Severino Borniquell. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Ferdi Merenga fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Ferdi Merenga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Merenga to maneuver through the defense. Ferdi Merenga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Colomes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Albertus FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
