When Teodosio Viator in the 29th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ismael de Carvalho kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 31st minute, Melquiades Benino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Acevedo having to interfere. Melquiades Benino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ismael de Carvalho made a huge save. Ismael de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Illan in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho got control of the ball when Fernando Aguirre tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Melquiades Benino sped through S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. All Boys made a substitution. Luis Veto replaced German Balasi. Eduardo Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael de Carvalho having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Reginaldo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Viator in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael de Carvalho saved S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Benino in the 73rd minute of play forced S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
