In the 15th minute, Ferdi Merenga made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Silva. Vila Zumbi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Gert Hebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Queirós's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ger Tollenaar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ger Tollenaar made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sílvio Queirós sent off a good shot on target. Diogo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Vila Zumbi's Hermínio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Merenga in the 35th minute of play. Hermínio Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdi Merenga went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hermínio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdi Merenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vila Zumbi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Albertus FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ger Tollenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton de Brito in the 55th minute of play. Ferdi Merenga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton de Brito came free, but Ger Tollenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Albertus FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Albertus FC's Ferdi Merenga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Hílton de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas de Lima in the 69th minute of play forced Albertus FC's goalkeeper Ger Tollenaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yorrick Zwaanswijk kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Albertus FC's Antoon Ponk was substituted for Daniël Zomer. The corner led to Vila Zumbi's Silas de Lima getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Martins to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Albertus FC's Hermínio Silva threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frits Platvoet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hermínio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Merenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Albertus FC's Ger Tollenaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Queirós in the 86th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Albertus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
