Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Colomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho Vinhas in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute of the match, Fabinho Vinhas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basilio Colomes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Basilio Colomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Rafinha Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Colomes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Basilio Colomes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Gonçalves in the 15th minute. Rafinha Gonçalves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Basilio Colomes 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hélder Proença hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Fe Montealegre got a free kick in the 21st minute. Fabinho Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Basilio Colomes made a huge save. Basilio Colomes made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rafinha Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the game, Severino Borniquell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ismael de Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Borniquell in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael de Carvalho saved S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting behind. Paskal Panguision sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paskal Panguision fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael de Carvalho having to interfere. Hílton Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 3-2 became the score in the 39th minute when Josu Mendibuey elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paskal Panguision in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Reginaldo Teixeira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lauro Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Paskal Panguision sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Ermengol Cerredelo replaced Severino Borniquell. After 75 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Moura. If Paskal Panguision had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Gonçalves in the 80th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Basilio Colomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paskal Panguision received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ismael de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paskal Panguision in the 84th minute of play forced S.E. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the S.E. Cachoeirinha defense, Ermengol Cerredelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. The S.E. Cachoeirinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Golden Dragón F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
