With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hubert Ottens in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Pedroso saved All Boys from getting behind. Ferdi Merenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nereo Pedroso made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Albertus FC's Hubert Ottens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Pedroso. Nereo Pedroso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Cayetano Ayala fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All Boys's protests and gave Cayetano Ayala a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, All Boys's Cayetano Ayala got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gert Hebert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Albertus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Illan came free, but Ger Tollenaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The All Boys fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when All Boys's Melquiades Benino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All Boys's Cayetano Ayala got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Cayetano Ayala off the ground. After a rather tough play, All Boys's Cayetano Ayala got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gert Hebert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nereo Pedroso made a huge save. 43 minutes into the game, Hubert Ottens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Pedroso. Hubert Ottens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Ferdi Merenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Merenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Balasi was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Ferdi Merenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Albertus FC's Ferdi Merenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. All Boys's Luis Veto was substituted for German Balasi. 67 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Ottens came free, but Nereo Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Aguirre. All Boys's Nereo Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Merenga in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Basilio Casomiro hit a great ball. Nereo Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Ottens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes, Hubert Ottens made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. All Boys's Nereo Pedroso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th match minute, Albertus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Merenga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Merenga in the 92nd minute of play forced All Boys's goalkeeper Nereo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubert Ottens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Pedroso having to interfere. Albertus FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of All Boys for a fine match.
