When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ferdi Merenga took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kryspin Zjawin to make any attempt to save it. Frits Platvoet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Ferdi Merenga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kryspin Zjawin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ger Tollenaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Malewicz in the 33rd minute of play. Kryspin Zjawin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferdi Merenga in the 37th minute. Yorrick Zwaanswijk hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Teobald Wojton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ger Tollenaar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kryspin Zjawin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits Platvoet in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdi Merenga made a kick off. Hubert Ottens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Zjawin having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Albertus FC's Kurt Hartlief seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kurt Hartlief the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Albertus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kurt Hartlief had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Albertus FC's Kurt Hartlief got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 58 played minutes Robert Hatman scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Ger Tollenaar who was too lazy, 2-2. Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Malewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Victoria Przyborów's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Merenga came free, but Kryspin Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Moizuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 85th minute of the match, Karol Moizuk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ger Tollenaar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ferdi Merenga struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Kryspin Zjawin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albertus FC. Ger Tollenaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Pilitowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
