The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimierz Lichucki got free with Bart-Jan Maenhout in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's Kazimierz Lichucki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart-Jan Maenhout narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Circus BAF got a freekick which was hit by Steffe Van De Wijngaert. Fryderyk Wolicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bart-Jan Maenhout made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kazimierz Lichucki sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Kazimierz Lichucki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bart-Jan Maenhout. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Jakub Siedlecki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauren Van Den Abeele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lucjan Gierlach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37th play minutes Kazimierz Lichucki shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Bart-Jan Maenhout and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucjan Gierlach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steffe Van De Wijngaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Bill Rutgeerts fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Circus BAF's protests and gave Bill Rutgeerts a yellow card for diving instead. Bill Rutgeerts hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Kazimierz Lichucki made a precise shot to the right of Bart-Jan Maenhout. Circus BAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lauren Van Den Abeele hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Circus BAF's Steffe Van De Wijngaert was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 68th minute Fryderyk Wolicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bart-Jan Maenhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauren Van Den Abeele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Gierlach having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Geoffry Suetens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Steffe Van De Wijngaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Gierlach. Galaxy Team U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffe Van De Wijngaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Team U18's zone, Rudy De Meesemaeckere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Gierlach came out of the goal and Rudy De Meesemaeckere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Dubiel's late challenge caught a Circus BAF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Dubiel helped the player get up and apologised. Wasyl Dubiel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffe Van De Wijngaert in the 93rd minute of play. The Galaxy Team U18 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
