Spectators: 8026 (Terracing: 6021, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) Khachatryan's Alistair Leslie started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1989 Blxsk's Daniel Lugo managed to work through Khachatryan's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Daniel Lugo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Junior Hemphill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Pancho in the 7th minute of play. Junior Hemphill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Lugo went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 22 minutes of play, Khachatryan's Del Cleveland made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Shantala was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, 1989 Blxsk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alistair Leslie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Junior Hemphill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Pancho in the 38th minute of the match. Junior Hemphill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Pancho's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Leslie came free, but Santo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Del Cleveland during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Del Cleveland. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Del Cleveland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Del Cleveland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Shantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Pancho to make the kick off. Khachatryan's Junior Hemphill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Khachatryan from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Junior Hemphill successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute Venancio Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Hemphill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Hemphill made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Venancio Pancho sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, Venancio Pancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Junior Hemphill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Carozza hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Marc Saldana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santo Shantala. 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marc Saldana kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Daniel Lugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Daron Thorne. In the 90th minute, Venancio Pancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Leslie came free, but Santo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Saldana hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Anacleto Cibran came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Cibran couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, 1989 Blxsk's Venancio Pancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. 1989 Blxsk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
