The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alif Sinurat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match 1989 Blxsk got a corner. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kabul Sonjaya couldn't finish the play. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Raka Bachtiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Pancho in the 24th minute of play. When Martin Suryana fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's protests and gave Martin Suryana a yellow card for diving instead. Martin Suryana hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Amador Leizarraga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raka Bachtiar. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timmy Napitupulu's late challenge caught a 1989 Blxsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Venancio Pancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anacleto Cibrans short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Raka Bachtiar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With 45 minutes on the clock, Bernardo Carozza commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bernardo Carozza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Eep Sangaji managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eep Sangaji was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Shantala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Venancio Pancho to strike the kick off in the second half. Elvio Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Suryana in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Martin Suryana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Kabul Sonjaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
