The crowd rose to their feet as Jakub Siedlecki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Junior Hemphill. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Daron Thorne's late challenge caught a Galaxy Team U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daron Thorne helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Daron Thorne hit a great ball. Damian Malewicki took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Junior Hemphill. Junior Hemphill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Del Cleveland in the 17th minute of play forced Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Gierlach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Matson in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Jakub Siedlecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Junior Hemphill came out of the goal and Jakub Siedlecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 37th minute of the match Daron Thorne completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daron Thorne a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th match minute, Khachatryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daron Thorne to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Junior Hemphill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Siedlecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Khachatryan getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kerry Petty hit a great ball. Jakub Siedlecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Junior Hemphill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Wolicki kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, one of Khachatryan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Matson got free with Lucjan Gierlach in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Malewicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Junior Hemphill came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galaxy Team U18's Jakub Siedlecki. But to his dismay, Jakub Siedlecki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 87th minute, one of Khachatryan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Khachatryan. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Galaxy Team U18. Robert Przybyciel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Junior Hemphill. 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Fryderyk Wolicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Del Cleveland didn't get a good kick on the ball.
