A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Geoffry Suetens hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy De Meesemaeckere came free, but Santo Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Rudy De Meesemaeckere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Shantala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy De Meesemaeckere in the 12th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Circus BAF got a freekick which was hit by Bill Rutgeerts. After 18 minutes, Erubiel Hitzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1989 Blxsk and the Circus BAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Amador Leizarraga got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 20 played minutes, Circus BAF's Matteo Van Halbeeck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santo Shantala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Circus BAF reached it. Santo Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffe Van De Wijngaert in the 21st minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Geoffry Suetens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santo Shantala. 1989 Blxsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geoffry Suetens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 34th minute, Erubiel Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Bart-Jan Maenhout got control of the ball when Anacleto Cibran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goalkeeper Bart-Jan Maenhout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Cibran. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Elvio Tebaldo replaced Apolo Ascencio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudy De Meesemaeckere made a kick off. Bart-Jan Maenhout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Venancio Pancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bart-Jan Maenhout. Circus BAF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Pancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Santo Shantala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bart-Jan Maenhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Tebaldo in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rudy De Meesemaeckere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Anacleto Cibran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1989 Blxsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Cibran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Constantijn Van De Beeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Circus BAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1989 Blxsk the free kick. Constantijn Van De Beeck kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, 1989 Blxsk's Leonardo Nikola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bart-Jan Maenhout came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
