The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the game, Masters United F.C.'s Jonathan Rodas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Txaran Cancela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Dani Murgia put in a rough tackle. 16 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Txaran Cancela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Elija. Yiyo Encinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artemio Cristofor having to make a save. Fire Breathers FC's Cordarrell Zabala got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Bartuelo Ruich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Cristofor. Masters United F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartuelo Ruich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Txaran Cancela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Ramond in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yiyo Encinas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Masters United F.C. booed when Fire Breathers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordarrell Zabala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordarrell Zabala succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 55 minutes, Jonathan Rodas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Masters United F.C. and the Fire Breathers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Jonathan Rodas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Masters United F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The supporters of Masters United F.C. booed when Fire Breathers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fonda Gabriel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Fire Breathers FC's Cordarrell Zabala made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Cristofor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artemio Cristofor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrell Zabala's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 77 played minutes Masters United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Felix Ramond. In the 82nd minute, Fire Breathers FC's Virgilio Moran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. If Cordarrell Zabala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Fire Breathers FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
