Edwin Sjöberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamal Habib having to make a save. Giring Suprianto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lucky Star's zone, Edwin Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal Habib came out of the goal and Edwin Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pance Tarmadi in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lucky Star's Nasir Alfaridzi got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kåre Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Kåre Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kamal Habib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johannes Stenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Frits Darmawan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Hägglund. Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Pance Tarmadi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Kåre Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Lucky Star getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Misbach Karisma hit a great ball. Kamal Habib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lexi Cahyadi in the 88th minute of play forced Onsala Ass Kickers's goalkeeper Thomas Hägglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin Sjöberg in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kamal Habib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucky Star's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
