The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Björnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Kåre Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Edwin Sjöberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski. Robert Manevski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin Sjöberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Manevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Onsala Ass Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Onsala Ass Kickers's Edwin Sjöberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edwin Sjöberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Manevski having to make a save. Robert Manevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edwin Sjöberg went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Skender Partenijev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Thomas Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Hägglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atanas Živkov in the 44th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Fagerberg during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Fagerberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Atanas Živkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ile Manojlovski to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ile Manojlovski put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Hägglund. After 55 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Jan Björnberg. Bojan Daev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Thomas Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Manevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 62nd minute of the match. Johannes Stenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin Sjöberg in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Manevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Bull Club's Robert Manevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 69th minute of play. Skender Partenijev struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Thomas Hägglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Club. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atanas Živkov in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Hägglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Kåre Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Manevski was a little too slow when Edwin Sjöberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Club's zone, Edwin Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Manevski came out of the goal and Edwin Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Manevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Ile Manojlovski notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund. Thomas Hägglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Onsala Ass Kickers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Onsala Ass Kickers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
