The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Pance Tarmadi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pavel Chabanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 11 minutes Lucky Star's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valeriy Gribin who took care of the corner kick. Eduard Florianov made a great header on Arsenal F.C.'s corner, it was just that Lucky Star's Kamal Habib managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Arsenal F.C. booed when Lucky Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marzuki Muzakki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavel Chabanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pance Tarmadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Riswan Batubara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Arsenal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Timur Zuev. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriy Gribin got free with Kamal Habib in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arkadiy Svetlov came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kamal Habib could save by the left post. After 32 played minutes Lucky Star got a freekick which was hit by Giring Suprianto. Arsenal F.C.'s Pavel Chabanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pance Tarmadi in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Filipp Sennikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the game, Lucky Star's Pance Tarmadi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Chabanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valeriy Chirkov to make the kick off. Misbach Karisma struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Pavel Chabanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucky Star. Misbach Karisma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Chabanov having to interfere. Kamal Habib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriy Gribin in the 60th minute of play. Eduard Florianov struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Kamal Habib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal F.C.. After a defensive mix-up in Lucky Star's zone, Arkadiy Svetlov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamal Habib came out of the goal and Arkadiy Svetlov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lucky Star's Giring Suprianto got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Arsenal F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eduard Florianov hit a great ball. Pance Tarmadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucky Star's Kamal Habib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriy Gribin in the 86th minute of play. Misbach Karisma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pavel Chabanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Misbach Karisma charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Misbach Karisma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduard Florianov hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Pance Tarmadi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Pavel Chabanov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 95 in the game by Pance Tarmadi from a close distance when the talented Pavel Chabanov managed to make a qualified save. Arsenal F.C.'s players were relieved.
