Spectators: 7993 (Terracing: 5996, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Krister Lundström got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Fågelmara IK's goal looked a bit too open when George Beloki came free, but John Granberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Beloki in the 5th minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper John Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fågelmara IK's John Granberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Beloki in the 9th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Fågelmara IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spartak de Txurdi:s goal. The supporters of Spartak de Txurdi booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Johan Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Osoro Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fågelmara IK's zone, Silvino Ribas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Granberg came out of the goal and Silvino Ribas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. John Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osoro Amorebieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Spartak de Txurdi getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Macedonio Sainz hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Malte Fastesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that George Beloki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Granberg was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Fågelmara IK's John Granberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Beloki in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Spartak de Txurdi were awarded a corner. Bartolo Novo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Silvino Ribas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fågelmara IK's John Granberg did a great save. 41 minutes into the game, Spartak de Txurdi's Silvino Ribas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Granberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fågelmara IK's John Granberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvino Ribas in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Spartak de Txurdi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Karl-Johan Qvarnström kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. John Granberg made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when George Beloki sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, John Granberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A hard shot 60 in the game by Osoro Amorebieta from a close distance when the talented John Granberg managed to make a qualified save. Fågelmara IK's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvino Ribas in the 63rd minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper John Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Silvino Ribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Spartak de Txurdi's Jacques Solana in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fågelmara IK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Jacques Solana put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of John Granberg. Joar Kinell kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osoro Amorebieta in the 78th minute of play forced Fågelmara IK's goalkeeper John Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fågelmara IK's John Granberg got control of the ball when George Beloki tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Beloki in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Granberg saved Fågelmara IK from getting behind. John Granberg was a little too slow when Osoro Amorebieta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5.
