After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Edwin Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Gelmiro came out of the goal and Edwin Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Staffan Nordkvist lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. LA LUZ F.C.'s Simon Quinten got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Eulalio Veronica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rosendo Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The LA LUZ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Froilan Ofelio replaced Zacarias Pagomari. LA LUZ F.C.'s Fabian Rosario was substituted for Orlando Johans. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Berart was the one to do the kick off. Onsala Ass Kickers's Thomas Hägglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Onsala Ass Kickers from getting a goal against them. If Edwin Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Maximino Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, one of LA LUZ F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LA LUZ F.C.. In the 79th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Eulalio Veronica ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomas Hägglund. Thomas Hägglund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Edwin Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Onsala Ass Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Valler in the 93rd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Valler in the 102nd minute of play. LA LUZ F.C. played a much better game than Onsala Ass Kickers and deserved their victory. The Onsala Ass Kickers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
