Xesus Jurado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 7th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Witalis Trela. In the 14th minute of the match Bartolo Novo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olgierd Zarobski skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Słodkie Cytryny's Witalis Trela got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute George Beloki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Zarobski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xesus Jurado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Cyryl Balkiewicz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xesus Jurado. 28 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Huk came free, but Xesus Jurado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Pawel Karpinski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Słodkie Cytryny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartak de Txurdi the free kick. The supporters of Słodkie Cytryny booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osoro Amorebieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Słodkie Cytryny made a substitution. Roman Brak replaced Andrzej Indyk. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Beloki to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, Osoro Amorebieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gonza Morado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Osoro Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Zarobski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Trela charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witalis Trela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grzegorz Jaraczewski during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xesus Jurado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Słodkie Cytryny defense, Osoro Amorebieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Zarobski. The Słodkie Cytryny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Zarobski should have stopped the shot. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Słodkie Cytryny!
