Olgierd Zarobski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uetendorf Wanderers's Gerard Barth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 10th minute of play. When Martin Heffliger fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uetendorf Wanderers's protests and gave Martin Heffliger a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Heffliger got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Cyryl Balkiewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uetendorf Wanderers's Gerard Barth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Urbain Sennrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Uetendorf Wanderers booed when Słodkie Cytryny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Mietus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Heffliger pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Uetendorf Wanderers's Placidus Rindlisbacher was substituted for Martin Heffliger. In the 26th match minute, Słodkie Cytryny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Malewicz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Słodkie Cytryny's Olgierd Zarobski got control of the ball when Placidus Rindlisbacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jakob Micheletto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Olgierd Zarobski made a huge save. Słodkie Cytryny's Olgierd Zarobski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Słodkie Cytryny from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Jeker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olgierd Zarobski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Micheletto in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Słodkie Cytryny defense, Jakob Micheletto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olgierd Zarobski. The Słodkie Cytryny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olgierd Zarobski should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Uetendorf Wanderers getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Urbain Sennrich hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jeker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olgierd Zarobski. Słodkie Cytryny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Jeker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 67 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Cyryl Balkiewicz came free, but Gerard Barth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 70th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper Gerard Barth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Mietus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Barth having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerard Barth saved Uetendorf Wanderers from getting behind. Olgierd Zarobski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Micheletto, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 77 played minutes Słodkie Cytryny got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Majorski. 79 minutes into the game, Placidus Rindlisbacher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uetendorf Wanderers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Słodkie Cytryny the free kick. In the 79th minute, Placidus Rindlisbacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerard Barth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Balkiewicz in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Balkiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerard Barth was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Olgierd Zarobski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Micheletto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Pawel Karpinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Słodkie Cytryny's supporters rose to their feet, but Pawel Karpinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Barth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Uetendorf Wanderers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Słodkie Cytryny for a fine match.
