An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Wijngaart in the 7th minute of play forced VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Pedro Benítez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Benítez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Wijngaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Pedro Benítez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Wijngaart in the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Roger Wijngaart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VILLARREAL UNITED the free kick. After 17 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Wijngaart. In the 20th minute of the match VILLARREAL UNITED got a corner. Winthont FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tristan Zapater ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tristan Zapater made a great header on VILLARREAL UNITED's corner, it was just that Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels managed to reach the ball for a save. After 24 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Wijngaart. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnalt Ortiz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Uebels saved Winthont FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute VILLARREAL UNITED were awarded a corner. Tristan Zapater went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute, Roger Wijngaart made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Benítez. VILLARREAL UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Winthont FC's Jurjen Kors landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. When Isidoro Mangas fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILLARREAL UNITED's protests and gave Isidoro Mangas a yellow card for diving instead. Winthont FC's Ferry Hof was substituted for Jurjen Kors. Isidoro Mangas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Frances Zapater. Winthont FC's Ronny Hendriks got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Wijngaart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niels Schirring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roger Wijngaart sped through VILLARREAL UNITED's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Benítez. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Ismael Jimenez replaced Amado Morcego. Edgard de Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels got control of the ball when Isidoro Mangas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Wijngaart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, VILLARREAL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indartsu Radaban to maneuver through the defense.
