Rubinho Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC LongeR. In the 5th minute of the match, Lech Skarpiak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubinho Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rubinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Skarpiak in the 8th minute of play. Benê Carioca's late challenge caught a FC LongeR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benê Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Edgar Czech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LongeR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Czeszyk in the 21st minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Rubinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ADM Taquaras were furious when Ediberto Varela was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of FC LongeR booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wit Gaszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute Reinaldo Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Robak in the 34th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Rubinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Raszek. Rubinho Abreu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Robert Robak sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rubinho Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Czech, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Rubinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Robak in the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Skarpiak came free, but Rubinho Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Rubinho Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Robak, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Lopez. Czeslaw Czeszyk took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubinho Abreu. Rubinho Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 79 played minutes FC LongeR got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Czech. Zé Madureira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that FC LongeR were the better team. FC LongeR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
