After a rather tough play, Dorking United FC's Roger Faulkner got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Clive Blake made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Matai Nanclares sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Quejana hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Lowndes to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Quejana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Blake having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Ortegano's Matai Nanclares got a free kick in the 24th minute. Pio Falla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Murphy, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lertxun Oliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesario Valensuela lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Deportivo Ortegano getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cesario Valensuela hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Herauso Chillon. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Paul Edworthy in the 43rd minute of play forced Deportivo Ortegano's goalkeeper Pio Falla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lertxun Oliver to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roger Faulkner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doug Lovell to maneuver through the defense. Sammy Curtis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Hicks to maneuver through the defense. Deportivo Ortegano's Generosb Cetina got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pio Falla made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Lowndes in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Doug Lovell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pio Falla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dorking United FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Roger Faulkner hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Dolfos Remon. In the 98th match minute, Dorking United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Hicks to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
